Project Overview

As a world traveler, I challenged myself with the question:
If I were a travel company, what kind of marketing collateral could I send to fellow travelers to get them excited for their upcoming trip?

Through my insights, I discovered that families and individuals tend to avoid packing unnecessary items for their travels. Therefore, I wanted to create something that would spark excitement but remain at home as a keepsake. This led me to design a recipe card (postcard-style) featuring a dish from their travel destination as part of their pre-trip materials.

The idea is simple yet meaningful: a recipe card serves as a way for travelers to connect with the culture of their destination before they even leave home. Travel is all about new experiences, and food plays such a big part in that. By inviting travelers to try a taste of their destination at home, they can look forward to enjoying the authentic version when they arrive!

To bring this concept to life, I created an example featuring Argentinian Sorrentinos, one of my personal favorite dishes from my own travels abroad.
